Perspicacious; OPAN’s Supported Decision Making Working Group

Sandra is currently the Research Director at Perspicacious.  Sandra has 25 years of international experience conducting and translating research across a wide range of research fields and organisations, including in her work as Policy and Research Manager at the Australian Association of Gerontology and Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Knowledge-Based Policy and Guidance at the National Board of Health and Welfare in Sweden.

She is passionate about working at the intersection between research evidence, professional expertise, and lived experiences to inform policy and practice improvements. Sandra has felt honoured to contribute to OPAN’s National Older Person’s Reference Group as a volunteer facilitator and to work with OPAN on a range of projects promoting the human rights of older people in the past 6 years.
