Heather Hollingworth is the CEO of BCD Community Care and has nearly 20 years experience in executive leadership across the Human Services sector, with expertise in People, Technology, Change, and Customer-Led Service. Passionate about driving sustainable growth and having a workforce that reflects the needs of the community, Heather is focused on adapting teams to meet the ever-changing needs of the aged care sector.

Heather’s leadership champions consumer-directed care, which offers flexibility but also presents challenges, particularly in aligning consumer needs with workforce. She’s led BCD in creating innovative staffing models that stay flexible and responsive to demand, ensuring high-quality care is always delivered.

With consumers taking more control, Heather understands the importance of recruiting and training staff to provide personalised, culturally responsive care and integrate digital tools effectively. Her strategies focus on building a workforce that’s adaptable, culturally competent, and tech-savvy.

Under Heather’s leadership, BCD has excelled in NDIS and Aged Care Commission audits, while achieving impressive results in psychological safety staff surveys. She fosters a culture of continuous improvement, with a focus on high standards of care and engaged, empowered staff.
