Fonda Voukelatos is the Deputy Chief Executive at Uniting AgeWell- one of Australia’s largest not for profit aged care providers.

As part of his role Fonda leads Uniting AgeWell’s home care strategy and services. He has overseen the growth in home care from a $15M business to a $230M business supporting over 15,000 people per year- through organic means and mergers & acquisitions. He is leading the development of Uniting AgeWell’s Home Care Strategy and response to Support at Home.

In his current role he is also responsible for: Strategy& Business Development; IT & Digital; Research & Innovation and Retirement Living.

Key to Fonda’s career has been his ability to foresee future opportunities & megatrends into a compelling strategy and innovative programs with a laser like focus on customer outcomes, quality & safe services and cultural transformation. Fonda has been responsible for:

• Delivering Australia’s first evidence based consumer directed care model nationally through research and stakeholder partnerships. Which was later iterated to support special needs groups including first nations people and people living in rural, remote settings

• He was invited to the Royal Commission into Aged Care as an expert witness to discuss Innovation in Aged Care, The future of Home Care and the role of informal carers

• The development of sector leading research and stakeholder relationships that have generated open source resources and

• Continuing to influence policy and its implementation for the benefits of people.
