Meredith Coote has had 39-year professional and lived experience working in clinical and leadership roles across the human services sector in aged care, disability and mental health in Government, Not for Profit and Profit for Purpose sectors. She is currently the Co-Chair of the National Carers Strategy Advisory Committee and has many years experience working in guardianship and financial management, with both supported and substituted decision making frameworks, assisting vulnerable people and their families and carers to understand both the importance of decision support and how the connectedness of people's lives impact on the decisions they make.
